Water Softener – Use to use pellets, found crystals in softener in house i just moved into.?
I use to use the pellets in my water softener, but i just took the lid off the water softener in the house i just moved into to find it 2/3rds full of crystals.
My question is, are these any good, and how much water should i put in there?
What is better, the pellets or the crystals? Can softeners use both?
Any help appreciated.
I agree with T.O. but would like to add that you don’t add the water to the tank. It is controlled by the softener.
